Here's a quick readout on house and condo sales in Montgomery County, Maryland.
Last month a total of $207.3 million worth of homes sold, an increase of 9.74% over February of 2009.
The median sold price increased by 4.60%, and the number of properties sold was up 13.39% over last year. The average days on the market dropped by 33.05%, indicating a dramatic speedup in the market.
The upshot: More homes are selling more quickly than last year.
