    In our transient world, Ibi is one of those rarities -- a native Washingtonian.  She was born in Washington, DC, spent her childhood in Bethesda, Maryland, and her teenage years in Alexandria, Virginia.

    She attended the University of Vienna, Austria, and completed her undergraduate work in Maryland at Hood College.

    Mrs. Sofillas began her real estate career in 1986, and brings exceptional expertise, energy, and good cheer to her work.  Her seller and buyer clients benefit from her life-long knowledge of our area and her organized approach to the real estate business.  She is the firm's principal broker, and is licensed in Maryland and the District of Columbia.

    Ibi has been president of the Gaithersburg and Bethesda chapters of Business Network International and is a member of the Clarksburg Chamber of Commerce.

    Ibi is fluent in French, German, English, and Hungarian, and is conversant in Spanish and Italian.

    A member of the Lifetime Million Dollar Club, Mr. Cogan is ranked in the top 1% of all real estate agents nationwide.

    His experience as a real estate investor for the past twenty-five years has given him an especially keen insight into the area's real estate market, and his clients benefit from this insider's knowledge of the home buying and selling process.

    Barry's service on the Board of Directors of the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce and as past president of the Bethesda chapter of Business Network International have created strong ties to local business leaders who are responsible for relocating employees in and out of the Washington area.

    Prior to his real estate career, Barry worked for the Navy and the Office of the Secretary of Defense, was a Presidential Management Intern, and was a manager with Analog and Digital Systems, Inc.  He received a BA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and an MPA, concentrating on finance and negotiations from USC.
